Simon - that privacy setting for the events application only controls who can see your events box on your profile page - it has no bearing on who can and can’t invite you to events, unfortunately.

Oh and in case you don’t know, there is a way to block specific people from sending you event invites…. Go to Account->Application Settings, click Edit Settings next to Events. Select “customise” from the privacy drop-down. You can add exceptions there…

In my case, some of my old school friends now run a nightclub and insist on inviting EVERYONE every time they have a special ngth on - sometimes 2/3 times/week. It’s incredibly annoying.

I’m sick of facebook and want to unsubscribe entirely. So far is impossible to do this. Can someone please help me do this?
