Free Royalty-Free Music for Audios & Podcasts
I was just putting the finishing touches to a welcome audio earlier today for a big marketing campaign I’m working on, and I needed to find a snippet of royalty-free music for the intro/outro. "Who ya gonna call?!" Twitter, of course.
Thanks heaps to these fine folks on Twitter for the suggestions - I thought I’d share the love on my blog too. I feel like a kid in a candy store! Now I’ll add intro/outro music to all my Facebook Interviews.
As you may know, adding music to your audios sure makes a difference. If you have any other hot suggestions, please do make a comment!
BTW, I ended up choosing a clip from RoyaltyFreeMusic.com and I used Audacity (free software) to record and edit the audio and Audio Acrobat to stream.

If you search for kriski I have a bunch of instrumental rock songs on there for you all to use.

I just picked up this comment from Jim Bouchard on the Speaker Net News ezine:
“If you want some great music for your presentations, podcasts and more, go independent! You’ll find quality artists who are either promoting their work or want to stay out of the constraints of big label recording. Be sure to contact the artist to get permission to use their work; independent does not mean they surrender the rights to their work. I’ve found several who produce great music and are very willing to trade rights for promotion.

another royalty free site is http://www.opuzz.com/. Better prices and very good music just in case your use is outside what creative common permits, you won’t have any probelm or don’t need to change the music.
